This Privacy Policy describes how Scaling Horizons LLC ("Scaling Horizons", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our websites, fill out our forms, book a call, opt in to our SMS programs, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Contact information you provide: name, email address, mobile phone number, business name, and any other information you choose to share when you fill out a form, book a call, or contact us.
• SMS opt-in information: if you check an SMS opt-in box on our forms, we record your consent (timestamp, IP address, the specific program you opted into, and the disclosure language shown to you).
• Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, device and browser information, IP address, and approximate location, collected through standard web analytics.
• Cookies and similar technologies: first-party and third-party cookies used for analytics and to remember your preferences.

How We Use Information

• To respond to your inquiries, deliver the services you requested, and follow up on calls you've booked with our team.
• To send you the SMS messages you opted in to receive (transactional and/or promotional, per the box you checked).
• To send you transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, account updates).
• To send you marketing emails about our services if you've opted in or are an existing client (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email).
• To improve our Services, understand how visitors use our site, and measure the performance of our marketing.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How We Share Information

We share information only as described below:

• Service providers (subprocessors): we use third-party vendors to operate our business — for example, Close CRM and Twilio for messaging, Google Workspace for email and documents, Stripe for payments, and analytics providers. These vendors only access information as needed to perform their services and are contractually required to protect it.
• Legal compliance: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Scaling Horizons, our clients, or others.
• Business transfers: if Scaling Horizons is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

SMS Programs

If you opt in to one of our SMS programs, the terms of that program are described in our SMS Program Terms. In summary:

• SMS opt-in is optional. You can use our Services without opting in to SMS.
• Each program (transactional, promotional) requires its own separate opt-in checkbox.
• You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website. Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to use some parts of our Services. We use these categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary: required for the site to function (e.g., remembering form progress).

SMS consent records are retained as required by carrier and TCR rules (typically at least 4 years from the date of consent).

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.

International Visitors

Scaling Horizons is based in the United States. If you access our Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website.
